TOAR-II Data User Workshop will be held from 23 June 2022, 12:00 CEST to 24 June 15:00 CEST 2022 on-site in Jülich and alternative online sessions on 12 July 2022 05:00 – 10:00 UTC (intended primarily for Asian participants) and 13 July 2022, 13:00 – 18:00 UTC (designed mainly for American participants) via Zoom.
Registration is available under:
Please note that there is no need to attend more than one of these events. All lectures from the on-site event will be recorded and published on the web before the online events. The online events will focus on the hands-on parts and we will assume that you are familiar with the lecture material when you attend one of them. We will work with each of you as much as we can to help you plan and implement your analyses of TOAR data.
The events will introduce the TOAR community to the new TOAR database and its tools for accessing and analysing TOAR data. Furthermore, we will help you to tackle your own workflows and data analysis problems in hands-on sessions. Your needs will also influence the further development of our infrastructure, i.e. which additional features are required, what should be improved and what must be priorized.
The events will be held in English and some prior knowledge of Python is required. Ideally, you are also familiar with Jupyter notebooks and git, though this is not required.
There will be no registration fee but travel and accommodations must be paid by your home institution.
Please check the FZJ web page for information how to get to Jülich if you wish to attend the on-site event. Also, please book your own accomodation (see registration form).
