The ACT-America airborne dataset provides merged in situ atmospheric trace gas measurements collected during flights over the central and eastern United States as part of the Atmospheric Carbon and Transport – America (ACT-America) project. Observations were acquired using the NASA Langley Beechcraft B200 King Air and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center C-130H Hercules aircraft. The merged data products include atmospheric concentrations of ozone (O₃), carbon dioxide (CO₂), methane (CH₄), carbon monoxide (CO), and ethane (C₂H₆; B200 aircraft only), together with aircraft navigation, meteorological variables, and trace gas measurements from discrete flask samples collected using the Programmable Flask Package (PFP).
